Wicked Waterfowl Retrievers was established in 2021 by Chad and Maggie Martin in Vassalboro, Maine. Our love for dogs intensified with the addition of our first dog Bubba, who introduced the all-consuming sport of waterfowl hunting. Chad began competing as an amateur in AKC hunt tests nearly 10 years ago while living in North Carolina where he was introduced to many great people in the hunt test and field trial world who provided invaluable mentorship shaping him into the pro he is today. 

 

WWR is a small kennel by design, focusing on well-bred retrievers that are serious about waterfowl hunting and AKC tests. Keeping the number of dogs small allows us to devote a significant amount of time to each dog. At Wicked Waterfowl Retrievers, you can expect that we will get the absolute best out of your animal and that they'll love their job just as much as we do.
