SERVICES
Socialization, crate training, early obedience and bird introduction for puppies 2-5 months old
10-12+ month program for the exceptional hunting dog or a senior / seasoned level competitive hunt test dog
12-18+ month advance concept training for the master / finished competitive hunt test dog
4-6 week formal obedience program, teaching commands that a dog must understand in order to be a good citizen, and especially if they want to advance in training.
4-6+ month program for the reliable hunting retriever or a dog that is capable of competing in junior / started level hunt tests.

Wicked Waterfowl Retrievers is owned and operated by Chad and Maggie Martin in Vassalboro, Maine. Our love for dogs began during childhood, and years later, grew deeper with the addition of our first boy, Bubba who introduced the all-consuming sport of waterfowl hunting.. Chad began competing as an amateur in AKC hunt tests while living in North Carolina where he was introduced to many great people in the hunt test and field trial world including Terry and Angela Price of Oakridge Kennels who continue to provide invaluable mentorship.

WWR is a small kennel by design, focusing on well-bred retrievers that are serious about waterfowl hunting and AKC/HRC hunt tests. By keeping the number of dogs small, WWR devotes a significant amount of time to each dog. We believe there is no cookie-cutter way to train a dog. At Wicked Waterfowl Retrievers, you can expect that we will get the absolute best out of your animal and that they'll love their job just as much as we do.
